Consider requesting a fresh fruit platter at breakfast. It's a good addition and beautifully presented.

The hotel is set in a quiet location yet close enough to walk to the beach, the town centre and public transport links. The Bay Tree offered a very personal approach to our holiday where nothing was too much trouble for the owners. Only being a small hotel there was no lounge area but the bedrooms have very adequate facilities I.E. television, access to wi fi, fridge and tea / coffee making equipment.Beds were really comfortable Breakfast was cooked to perfection.I Would definitely visit this hotel again
I felt the linen (towels) could have been changed more often..

The Bay Tree was a very relaxing comfortable stay. We originally planned to stay for just 2 nights, but after just a few hours we were so pleased with the friendly welcome and the cleanliness of the room we decided to stay an extra night. Breakfast the following morning and throughout our stay was of a very high standard and of perfect portion size. Although we had forgotten the laptop on the way down it was not missed as Chris & Karen (the owners) were more than helpful suggesting places to visit and eat whilst we were there. Off street parking was an added bonus. Overall we couldn't have hoped for a better stay and plan to revisit in the future. Highly recommended!

Karen and Chris, the hosts, created a cute atmosphere. The room was super clean, with generous storage space and modern amenities like a tv and electric kettle. Breakfast was a highlight. Freshly prepared with a variety of options, including hot meals that had to be ordered the night before. This setup worked well, but I wish more flexibility was offered on timing. The gardens outside were a lovely place to relax after a day out. The only downside was the location-not directly on the sea front, a longer walk to the beach. Nonetheless, it was only a 10-minute jaunt to the shore and nearby amenities. Parking was limited, with only three spaces available, but I managed to find street parking easily. I would definitely recommend staying here, particularly for those who appreciate a clean, comfortable, and friendly B&B experience.

Fairly clean hotel with quiet and absolutely perfect location in Torquay near the harbour and town center, spotless establishment and seafront and restaurants.

Limited breakfast hours could leave night owls scrambling!!! Only three parking spaces seem wildly insufficient for peak seasons!!! The distance from the shoreline means more walking when you'd prefer relaxation!!!

great stay but limited breakfast flexibility
Breakfasts are freshly prepared to order, made each morning special. The kitchen's proximity to the dining area allowed for efficient service, especially when the cooked parts of the meal arrived hot and ready. The cute atmosphere created by the owners enhanced my overall experience, as they were attentive to guests' needs.

The Baytree is a comfortable, homely, welcoming place to stay. The ground- floor room we stayed in was beautifully appointed and convenient for a disabled person. The owners could not do enough for us. Breakfasts were excellent and we had access whenever we needed with front door and room keys provided.
As my husband is disabled we could not use the Baytree car park as it is at the bottom of steps. We therefore had to park in the road and we could not always find a convenient spot to park. Also because of the hilly terrain I could not take him to the sea front in his wheelchair.
